Módulos prefabricados de incubación de ovas y alevinaje de trucha instalados en Ayacucho y Huánuco - Asistencia Técnica, 2013 al 2019

Abstract

El Ministerio de la Producción (Produce) el 2012 evaluó la zona del VRAEM de la Región Ayacucho, como área potencial para acuicultura, encargando al Instituto del Mar del Perú (Imarpe), elaborar la propuesta de Acciones de Capacitación y Asistencia Técnica, en el marco del Programa Presupuestal – Ordenamiento y Desarrollo de la Acuicultura – 0094. La Dirección General de Investigación en Acuicultura-DGIA del Imarpe, propuso la Instalación de Módulos Prefabricados de incubación de ovas y alevinaje de trucha, a través del proyecto “Asistencia técnica de zonas altoandinas y amazónicas” que se desarrolló en las Regiones de Ayacucho y Huánuco desde el 2013 al 2019. Este proyecto ofrece una posibilidad de negocio a grupos de pobladores de las comunidades alto andinas, mediante venta de alevinos de trucha. Se inicia con la identificación del potencial de capital humano, accesibilidad y disponibilidad del recurso hídrico. Posteriormente, se brinda asistencia técnica y se atiende la demanda de alevinos (no cubierta por el mercado local). Además, con ayuda de las Direcciones Regionales se formalizan los módulos prefabricados de incubación de ovas y alevinaje de trucha obteniendo su resolución como Acuicultura de Micro y Pequeña Empresa (AMYPE).

ABSTRACT: In 2012, the Peruvian Ministry of Production (PRODUCE) conducted an evaluation of the VRAEM region in Ayacucho, identifying it as a potential area for aquaculture development. As part of the Aquaculture Planning and Development Program (Budget Program 0094), the Ministry entrusted the Instituto del Mar del Perú (IMARPE) with the task of formulating a proposal for Training and Technical Assistance. Under this initiative, IMARPE’s Directorate General of Aquaculture Research proposed the installation of Prefabricated Modules for the incubation of trout eggs and the rearing of fry. This project, known as “Technical Assistance for High-Andean and Amazonian Zones,” was implemented in the Ayacucho and Huánuco regions from 2013 to 2019. It has not only offered a viable business opportunity to local communities in the high Andes but has also facilitated the sale of trout fry. The project’s success is underpinned by a comprehensive approach, beginning with the assessment of human capital potential, accessibility, and the availability of water resources. Subsequently, technical assistance is provided to meet the demand for trout fry, particularly when it is not adequately addressed by the local market. Furthermore, with the invaluable support of Regional Directorates, the prefabricated modules for trout egg incubation and fry rearing have been formalized and recognized as Micro and Small Aquaculture Enterprises (AMYPE in Spanish).
